Who hasn't fantasized about leaving a job by letting their boss know what everyone really thinks of them? I, for one, at a couple of instances, have gone through 23 full monologue scripts that had so many innovative ways of saying what I wanted my boss to go and do to himself that it would probably win me some sort of linguistic award.

Unfortunately for me, I haven't stumbled upon a load of cash big enough to afford this kind of speech, it isn't called "appreciate you money" you know, and I had to settle for an EXTREMELY apologetic full month's notice with more "sorrys" in it than commas. Not proud of it but what are you gonna do?

Anyway, thanks to the almighty internet, some platforms took Yelp, Google reviews, and LinkedIn and created a hybrid creature to serve as a stage for our inner "bad bye" monologues so we can post them from a safe distance at the comfort of our own home. Far, far away from the big, bad boss.

  • 2. My wife is not from America. Her tourist visa to see me and my family was denied while I was injured. I couldn't make money during that time either.
